ODA strictly follows the Ministry of Ontario’s credit transfer policy of secondary education for international students and will assess the students’ academic records or transcripts accordingly. ODA will compare the content and difficulty level of courses students have taken in their original countries with curriculum in Canada to evaluate the credit eligible to be transferred. Students can directly enroll in the corresponding grade level in Canada.

Transfer credit assessment varies depending on the courses or curriculum that the student has completed.
For students from overseas and outside Ontario, the Principal will assess their school records and determine the number of equivalency credits that the students will be granted and indicate the remaining number of courses they are required to complete in order to qualify for the OSSD.
