High School Programs

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) Program:

One Direction Academy offers Grade 9- 12 credit courses based on the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum. The program equips students with skills and knowledge needed to meet entrance requirements for university programs.

For the OSSD, students must complete a total of 30 credits from Grade 9 to 12. In addition, they must pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). International students get equivalency credits based on the studies completed and are admitted into appropriate level of OSSD program.

Over the years, One Direction Academy has 100% admission rate into University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, york University, and other top universities for its special class students.

Students can select at least six courses based on their interests and future majors to meet the university admission requirements.

    One Direction Academy is approved by the Ministry of Education and offers many credit courses as well as tutoring. Whether you need to upgrade marks or complete courses for post-secondary school, you can achieve it here during the summer or anytime of the year. Courses we are offering for the summer are:

    Ontario Education System

    Education in Ontario, Canada is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 system: Kindergarten (Age 5), Elementary School (Grades 1 – 8), and Secondary School (Grades 9 – 12). Courses offered reflect students’ needs and interests There are different courses that students can select depending on their future goals. Students may choose their compulsory courses from 3 types: university preparation, college preparation, and workplace preparation. For example, schools may offer 3 types of Grade 12 English courses: ENG4U (University) ENG4C (College), and ENG4E (Workplace).Read More
